Improved Packaging
To improve the packaging of the unique tangle free range of wall ties we have replaced the old bag tie with the new cable tie.

This not only gives an enhanced look to the bundle – it also has practical benefits.By using pre-tensioning tools, the application of the cable tie provides a consistently tight and secure pack.

Addition to range - Two Part Ties
TecTies complete the range of cavity ties with the launch of the unique turn and lock Two Part Tie designed for cavity widths above 150mm.

Addition to range – 250mm TT4 Housing Ties
TecTies expand the range of housing ties with the introduction of the 250mm long version. Tested to
BS EN 845 the ties are suitable for 101mm to 125mm wide cavities accommodating the trend towards
wider cavity widths. The ties are also suitable for Type A (party walls) and meet the technical requirements
of NHBC.

25/14 Channel Ties
TecTies introduce the 25/14 Channel Tie designed with the “u” shaped head and T slot to fit the 25/14 channel system. It has the slotted end for mortar embedment which has been independently tested under shear and tension.

Shear and Tension Test
TecTies have completed the independent testing of Restraint and Movement Ties at Ceram Building Technology to determine the Shear and Tension performance for the slotted end in mortar embedment.
The Ties achieved 2610N in shear and 1830N in tension.

Addition to range – Timber Frame Ties
TecTies add further ties to their range with the introduction of Stainless Steel Timber Frame Ties.
Fully tested to BS EN 846 the ties meet the requirements of DD140 as type 6 tie and the technical requirements of NHBC. TecTies Timber Frame Ties are supplied with stainless steel annular ring
shank nails and manufactured in three sizes to suit 50mm, 75mm and 100mm cavity widths.
